Boston United Centre of Excellence was founded in 2003 and will be operating during the 2008-2009 campaign with seven age groups in place.

The 2008-2009 season will see the Pilgrims welcoming two new members of coaching staff — Mark Melson and Kai Brownhill.

The Centre of Excellence, overseen by head of youth Steve Welsh and youth administrator John Thorogood, is kindly sponsored by Paragon Print and Packaging.

The club also runs a scholarship programme, in association with the Football League and League Football Education. The under-18s compete in the Football League Youth Alliance.

The club’s youth team ranks comprise of six first year and six second year scholars, in addition to six extended schoolboys.
