Boston United travel to Altrincham on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm) as the battle for Skrill North play-off places intensifies.

United moved up to fifth on Saturday following their 2-0 home win over Gloucester City and now have third-placed Altrincham in their sights in midweek at Moss Lane.

The Pilgrims will be without the services of injured duo Conor Marshall (fractured cheekbone and eye socket) and David Ferguson (knee), while new signing Zak Mills completes his five-match suspension incurred for back-to-back red cards during his Histon days.

United boss Dennis Greene will be able to call upon the services of left-back Rene Steer following his own suspension, while Marc Newsham (knee) could return after missing Saturday’s win over Gloucester.

Jamie McGhee could continue at right-back after his impressive performance in that position on Saturday.

Opponents Altrincham, who have won seven of their last eight matches, were 3-1 winners at Colwyn Bay on Saturday and are six points above the Pilgrims (and have a game in hand).

The Pilgrims, who have been thrashed 6-1 and 7-1 on their last two visits to Moss Lane, beat the Robins 3-2 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

AWAY TRAVEL
Official BUSA transport leaves The Jakemans Stadium at 3.30pm.

The postcode for Sat Nav purposes is WA15 8AP.
