Boston United are delighted to announce that well-respected local firm Archie Hardwick will provide food and catering services in The Pilgrim Lounge.

The Dolphin Lane-based delicatessen and coffee shop have taken over the running of the kitchen in The Pilgrim Lounge — and will be providing matchday food for sponsors, matchday guests and players alike.

Archie Hardwick will also be supplying the catering for events in The Pilgrim Lounge — the first of which is likely to be the Howard Webb sportsman’s dinner on Thursday March 28.

Reflecting on the exciting link-up, United chairman David Newton told bufc.co.uk: “I am delighted that Tina and her staff at Archie Hardwick will now be working closely with Boston United.

“Archie Hardwick have earned an excellent reputation for delivering quality catering, with friendly and efficient service.

“The Pilgrim Lounge is one of the best venues in Boston and the partnership with Archie Hardwick will allow us to offer a consistently high quality food experience.

“Tina and her staff will team up with Pilgrim Lounge manager Tom Lee and we will now work with Archie Hardwick in the re-branding of The Pilgrim Lounge.

“We hope to announce some new and varied events in The Pilgrim Lounge over the coming months.”

Tina Edmunds of Archie Hardwick added: “We at Archie Hardwick are very proud to be asked by the chairman to join the team at Boston United and The Pilgrim Lounge.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for us and we look forward to providing both the club and venue with quality ‘home style’ food, for which we have become known.

“We try to use local produce and suppliers as much as possible and see this as an integral part of working with such a community-focused club as Boston United.”
