Armond injury mars Eastwood encounter

By Craig Singleton

Three goals inside the final 10 minutes handed title-chasing Eastwood Community a flattering victory at The Jakemans Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The match was halted for over an hour after 18 minutes when Finlay Armond required extensive treatment following a head injury which culminated in him leaving the ground in an ambulance.

Jenson Bark cancelled out Eastwood's half-time lead but the league's top scorer Kieran Knight scored two of the three late goals to hand the visitors all three points.
