The 35-year-old, who arrived from Eastwood Town in September, has joined Evo-Stik Division One South side Hucknall Town as player-coach.

Armstrong, who made three appearances for the Pilgrims, has linked up with Des Lyttle in a new management structure at Watnall Road.

He made his debut at Altrincham on October 8 and has since played in the successive victories over Histon and Workington.

Boston United would like to thank the player for his service during his short spell with the Pilgrims.
