York City fans have been allocated the Jakemans (Town End) Stand for Saturday's Vanarama National League North fixture.

City fans should enter the stadium via turnstiles 7-10.

United season ticket holders in the Town End are welcome to access any other home area of the stadium instead.

This decision has been taken based on the number of travelling fans indicated by York City and intelligence received.

The predicted number of fans could not be safely accommodated in the York Street Stand, with the required level of catering and WC facilities.

To clarify, the decision to allocate the Town End to the away supporters at the recent game against Stockport County was not necessarily based on numbers of visiting fans, but on intelligence from the Police surrounding the game. Those attending that fixture would have noticed an increased Police presence inside the ground.

Unless any adverse intelligence is received, we do not anticipate having to allocate the Town End to visiting fans for any further league games this season. Clearly we want the best atmosphere at all games and but safety has to be the priority.
