Backroom changes confirmed

8 months ago By Craig Singleton

Boston United manager Craig Elliott has confirmed departures and additions to his backroom staff at The Jakemans Stadium.

Moving on are assistant manager Karl Hawley and goalkeeping coach Dave McCarthy and Elliott paid tribute to the duo for their assistance during his opening weeks in-post.

Elliott said: "I cannot speak highly enough of them both. They have been a massive part of the club and it was a difficult decision but they know football and deep down they know that if I am going to do this job, I have to do it my way with people around me who I have worked with before.

"I cannot thank them enough, but it is important I start as I mean to go on."

Elliott will be assisted by Darren Smith (pictured, right), Lee Stratford and goalkeeping coach Rich Lawrence moving forward.
