Salford City are Saturday afternoon’s Vanarama National League North visitors to The Jakemans Stadium.

The third-placed Ammies make their first-ever visit to York Street at the weekend as both teams reach the business end of the season.

Adam Murray could hand a debut to Jack Broadhead, who completed his move from Mickleover Sports on transfer deadline day, while Louis Briscoe and Mani Dieseruvwe are in line for home debuts following outings at Worcester City and Alfreton Town in the last seven days.

Joe Burgess, Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Grant Roberts, Gregg Smith and Jason St Juste are the five players ruled out of contention through injury for the Pilgrims.

Salford are flying high once again after winning the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division play-off final at the end of last season and include ex-Pilgrims’ favourite David Norris within their ranks.

The sides fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw in this season’s reverse fixture at Moor Lane in October.

Saturday’s match referee is Ricky Wootton and kick-off is at 3.00pm.

Updates for those not in attendance will be available on Twitter.
