
The encounter at The Jakemans Stadium has been confirmed following the first team’s away draw in the FA Cup with Budweiser at Tadcaster Albion.
As a consequence, the Pilgrims’ scheduled home clash against Boston Town Reserves has been postponed and will be re-arranged in due course.
The winners of the second round clash will entertain Skegness Town on Saturday October 13 — which would mean that if the Pilgrims are successful, their away fixture against Boston Town Reserves would also be postponed.
United's second string are inactive on Saturday (September 29) due to having six under-18s players selected for county duty, including Sam Vince, Joe Briers and Jordan Nuttell who have featured extensively for the reserves so far this season.
