A flare was released moments before kick-off at Solihull Moors on Saturday — and club officials have moved to remind fans of the seriousness of the issue.

The club’s Police liaison offer PC Simon Oswin said: “Flares are not allowed inside football stadiums and anybody found in possession of one will find themselves ejected, arrested and subject to a football banning order.”
