Boston United have issued a banning order to a supporter following an incident at the away fixture against Darlington 1883 on August 13.

After consultation with Lincolnshire Police, the supporter in question has been banned until October 1 following a pitch incursion after Jay Rollins' stoppage time goal for the Pilgrims.

United safety officer John Thorogood told bufc.co.uk: "The club take no pleasure in issuing banning orders of this nature, but we are responsible for the actions of our supporters and must ensure that we comply with FA regulations at all times."

The club have acted to bring the matter to a speedy and decisive conclusion and will make no further comment.
