Club thankful for pitch support

By Craig Singleton

Boston United have extended their thanks to a pair of local businesses as pitch preparations begin in earnest for the 2019-2020 campaign.

United head groundsman Dan Milgate and his team have once again been able to take advantage of access to the vast array of machinery belonging to the Burdens Group.

Enterprise Seeds, meanwhile, have donated 10 bags of grass seed to get the pitch back into tip-top condition for the club's final campaign at York Street.

United commercial manager Craig Singleton said: "I would like to thank Norman Burden and Dennis Pell for their incredible and ongoing support.

"We have worked with Burdens for well over a decade now and Norman's support continues to be fantastic.

"Dennis, meanwhile, has donated grass seed for the second summer running and we cannot thank him enough for his excellent backing."
