Community Day looming large

2 months ago By Craig Singleton

Boston United's Community Day will take place on Sunday (July 23) with a firm emphasis on meeting the Pilgrims' new-look first team squad.

Adam Murray's troops will feature in an open training session on the pitch, as well as taking part in various meet and greet opportunities with supporters and having their annual squad photograph taken.

As a consequence of the change of format for 2017, the general public will not be allowed to enter the pitch at The Jakemans Stadium, given the substantial outlay on returning the playing surface to its former glories this summer.

The event, kindly sponsored by Jakemans Confectioners, will feature side stalls in the Lincolnshire Co-operative Stand, while it is hoped 2017-2018 season tickets will be available for collection on the day.

The Community Day will run from 11.00am to 3.00pm, with hot food available inside the stadium, while The Pilgrim Lounge will be open throughout the day too.
