Boston United Community Foundation has over 30 teams playing under the Boston United name each week.

We currently have three sites across the Borough of Boston where our Community Football Club and Girls Regional Talent Club teams operate.

Our charity is seeking a volunteer to support the maintenance of its football pitches to ensure well-maintained facilities for our range of football teams to enjoy.

The successful volunteer will be expected to:

1. Plan and implement structured maintenance plans for all pitches.
2. Safety checks on equipment.
3. Mark out the football pitches every week at each of the three sites.
4. Oversee pitch development and assessment.
5. Report all results to the football development officer.

How much time will I have to give to the role?
Duties will take between six and eight hours per week to perform.

This voluntary post is subject to an enhanced FA CRC check and satisfactory references. Experience in pitch maintenance would be advantageous but not essential as training could be given.

For an informal discussion about the role, contact Nick Reeson on (01205) 364406 or e-mail nick.reeson@bufc.co.uk for more details.

With this being a volunteer role, the successful applicant will be entitled to a FREE match ticket to every Boston United home fixture.
