Marc Newsham gained further valuable match time alongside Doran, Conor Marshall, Kaine Felix, Jack Barlow and Michael Hollingsworth in a high tempo match against a youthful and determined Doncaster side.

In a first half where Newsham had three good opportunities to score, the sides went in at half-time at 0-0.

The second half saw Doncaster take the lead on 50 minutes when a looping effort in the box evaded everyone to end up in the net.

On 73 minutes Doran equalised with an effort past the Doncaster keeper from 12 yards out before sealing the victory in the 90th minute when his close-range effort went in off the underside of the bar.
