Boston United manager Craig Elliott hopes to have playmaker Andi Thanoj back in contention for the visit of Blyth Spartans on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims play host to Alun Armstrong's northeast side (kick-off 3.00pm) as they chase a first home victory since August 14 against Nuneaton Borough.

Thanoj's anticipated availability will be a major boost for Elliott who has three gaps in the matchday squad on duty at Curzon Ashton a fortnight ago following the departures of substitutes Ahkeem Rose, Jordan Gough and Adam Marriott.

All eyes will be on who fills the other slots with Nathan Arnold and Yusifu Ceesay also on the move since the Curzon clash.

Jay Rollins remains United's only definite absentee with adductor and hip issues.

Blyth have collected 10 points from their opening 11 fixtures, although only one point has arrived on the road to date (at Darlington).

United won 2-1 in last season's corresponding fixture at The Jakemans Stadium.

Saturday's match referee is Aaron Bannister.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
