Boston United boss Craig Elliott will be forced into at least two changes when the Pilgrims travel to York City on Saturday afternoon.

United will be without the services of defender Ben Middleton, who begins a two-match suspension for his red card against Chorley, and striker Jake Wright, who is ineligible to face his parent club under the terms of the loan agreement between York and Boston.

Elliott will also check on the fitness of striker Gavin Allott, who limped out of the Chorley clash with a thigh problem.

The Pilgrims, who defeated York 2-0 at home earlier in the campaign, are targeting a ninth away victory of the National League North season (kick-off 3.00pm).

City are now managed by former Gateshead boss Steve Watson, whose side find themselves three points behind the Pilgrims, albeit with a game in hand.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the Minstermen, courtesy of ex-Pilgrim David Ferguson's late strike.

Saturday's match referee is Adam Williamson, who has never previously taken charge of a match involving the Pilgrims.
