Craig Elliott will take charge of his first match as Boston United manager when the Pilgrims travel to Harrogate Town on Saturday.

The Pilgrims are gearing up for a new era under the former Shaw Lane boss and he will be in the dugout for Saturday's trip to the CNG Stadium.

The former Harrogate striker will come up against his former club who currently find themselves third in the standings under the guidance of former Pilgrims' defender Simon Weaver.

Town have won four and drawn three of their eight home fixtures to date and could include ex-Pilgrim Liam Agnew within their ranks on Saturday.

Elliott will check on the fitness of full-backs James Clifton and Liam Wakefield who both missed out against Stockport County last weekend through respective groin and foot injuries.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-0 to Harrogate.

Saturday's match referee is Alex Kirkley.
