Boston United have been handed a home draw in the second round of the Football Conference Youth Alliance League Cup.

Following earlier home victories over Chasetown and Solihull Moors, the United youngsters will now entertain league rivals Histon on Wednesday December 16.

Histon have already visited Boston Town’s DWB Stadium this season — and returned home with all three points after a 3-2 win.

The Pilgrims are facing a number of games before Christmas as they seek to catch up on fixtures postponed due to their various cup commitments.

Martyn Bunce’s side travel to AFC Sudbury Reds on Monday (November 30) before hosting Bishop’s Stortford at the DWB Stadium on Wednesday (December 2).

Two fixtures take place the following week too — away at Peterborough United on Monday December 7 and away at Rushden & Diamonds on Wednesday December 9.

United’s unallocated fixtures currently include home fixtures against Football CV Reds and Romford Reds — and the recently-postponed trip to Lowestoft Town (originally scheduled for December 16).
