Fresh from defeating Norwich City and holding Aston Villa to a draw, Boston United will be keen to stamp their mark against Forest in the third of four eye-catching home friendlies — with Sunderland still to arrive on Saturday.
United boss Dennis Greene has indicated that several of the players who emerged from the bench after 65 minutes of Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Villa will be given the opportunity to start against Forest.
Midfielder Jake Hall is expected to feature as he bids to make a return to the club where he made 15 appearances last season.
Forest are likely to include new summer signing Roger Riera, who has arrived at the City Ground from Barcelona.
The Jakemans (Town End) Stand will, once again, be closed for this fixture.
