Boston United have had a fantastic month, picking up four wins in as many matches. The Pilgrims now look like strong play-off contenders and are currently fifth in Vanarama Conference North.

On the announcement of the award, Dennis said: “Obviously I am delighted to win this award, but the players and backroom staff deserve a huge amount of credit too.

“We are doing our utmost to finish in the play-offs and hopefully we can achieve that aim before the end of the season.”

The official award panel had this to say: “It has been a perfect month for the boss of the Pilgrims, who have flitted in and out of the play-off positions during the season.

”The target set by his board has been promotion to return to the top flight of the non-league game and at times that has looked a step too far. However, throughout March, and under the guidance of Greene, everyone at the club has been working hard to achieve this specific aim and his players have picked up some crucial victories recently.

“Dennis has led the club to within a few games of making it a worthwhile season and he has certainly put them in the driving seat for promotion via the play-offs.

“Congratulations to Dennis Greene of Boston United on winning this award and we wish him the very best for the rest of the season.”
