Vanarama National League promotion favourites Grimsby Town are Saturday's pre-season friendly visitors to The Jakemans Stadium (kick-off 3.00pm).

Town boss Paul Hurst will make his first official return since leaving the Boston United hotseat in March 2011. He will be joined in the Town set-up by former United favourites James McKeown and Shaun Pearson.

United manager Dennis Greene will utilise the fixture to fine-tune his selection options ahead of the trip to Stockport County on August 8, with Peterborough United keeper Henrich Ravas potentially getting another run-out.

The likes of Jay Rollins, Jamie McGhee and Jake Sheridan will hope to be particularly prominent in Greene's thoughts with spaces up-for-grabs.

MATCHDAY INFORMATION
The Jakemans (Town End) Stand will be allocated to Town fans for this fixture. Admission prices in all areas of the stadium are £8 for adults, £4 for concessions and £2 for under-16s.

The Pilgrim Lounge will be CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, while The Cropleys Lounge will be open for members before the match and at half-time (but closed at full-time).

‘The Pilgrim’ matchday programme — encompassing all five home pre-season fixtures — will be on sale priced £2 per copy.
