The event at Boston Golf Club takes place on Friday July 6 and team entries are still being sought.

With 25 teams already entered, availability is becoming scarce to join United’s golfing contingent on the day.

The cost is £120 per team of four, although a small discount is available per Boston Golf Club member.

The entry fee includes a two-course meal on completion of the round, in addition to ‘halfway house’ refreshments.

United stars Nathan Stainfield and Ben Milnes are likely to feature on the day, alongside legends such as Dave Adamson, Freddie Taylor, Jim Kabia, Gary Mallender, Martin Hardy and Greg Fee.
