Full-back Ashley Jackson is back in contention as Boston United plot a return to winning ways at Edgeley Park on Saturday afternoon.

Jackson has completed his three-match suspension incurred for a red card against Nuneaton Borough on August 14 and returns against Stockport County (kick-off 3.00pm) as fellow full-back Jordan Gough serves his own one-match ban for his dismissal against Kidderminster Harriers last weekend.

Grimsby Town loan duo Max Wright and Ahkeem Rose are both eligible to make their United debuts while Nathan Arnold could return following a knee injury.

Alongside Gough, injured winger Jay Rollins is United's only other definite absentee.

Stockport have opened the campaign with 11 points from their eight fixtures to date, one point worse off than the Pilgrims, including a 3-1 home win over Leamington last time out.

United's reigning players' player of the year Jordan Keane will make his first appearance against the Pilgrims since leaving the club during the summer.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 1-0 in favour of the Hatters courtesy of Matt Warburton's 86th minute strike.

Saturday's match referee is Adam Herczeg, who officiated the Pilgrims' trips to Blyth Spartans and Darlington in 2017-2018.
