As rain and lightning lashed The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday evening, Boston United whipped up their own Mark Jones-led storm to thump Histon 6-0.

Ben Fairclough, Marc Newsham and Ben Milnes also got in on the act as the Pilgrims ran amok on their rain-soaked home soil.

The result was never in doubt following Jones' 28th minute breakthrough and goals arrived at regular intervals thereafter.
