Jones, who netted 14 times in 29 outings for the Pilgrims during the first half of the 2012-2013 season, will be returning to The Jakemans Stadium until mid-January.

He originally departed to join Gainsborough Trinity in January 2013, but later moved to last season's eventual United Counties League champions.

Confirmation of the move will follow once the paperwork has been completed.

Jones is expected to be available for Saturday's home fixture against Hyde FC.
