Striker Mark Jones scored twice as a number of Boston United first team players got valuable minutes under their belts on Tuesday evening.
A United XI were beaten 4-2 by Evo-Stik Division One South high-flyers Lincoln United despite two Jones goals before half-time.
The likes of Josh Venney, Ioan Evans, Malachi Lavelle-Moore and John Sands also featured ahead of Saturday's return to Vanarama National League North action against Stalybridge Celtic.
