King's Lynn fixture switched
Boston United’s pre-season friendly against King’s Lynn Town will now be played on Saturday July 18 — at The Jakemans Stadium.
The fixture had been scheduled for Tuesday July 28 and subsequently Thursday July 30 at the Walks Stadium — but it will now be played in Boston.
The re-arrangement is likely to complete the Pilgrims’ pre-season schedule, which begins at Tattershall Road against Boston Town on Saturday (July 11, kick-off 3.00pm).
It ensures Dennis Greene’s side will have four cycles of Saturday and midweek action ahead of their Vanarama National League North opener at Stockport County on Saturday August 8.
