The 26-year-old forward missed Saturday’s 1-0 win at Droylsden due to a back injury but Lee is quietly confident that Weir-Daley could return to face the Stutes.

Tom Ward, meanwhile, is still sidelined with an ankle injury and will play no part against Histon.

Lee has not reported any fresh injury concerns following Saturday’s opening day victory.
