Boston United are back on the road in Vanarama National League North on Tuesday evening with the long trip to face Spennymoor Town.

The re-arranged visit to the Brewery Field (kick-off 7.45pm) was necessitated by the postponement of the original fixture on December 22.

Craig Elliott's side will be hoping to follow up Saturday's exhilarating 5-4 victory at Guiseley with a third consecutive away win.

United's squad is unlikely to change too much to the one on duty at Nethermoor Park, although new signing Nicky Wroe is pushing for a first start.

Ex-Pilgrims Stephen Brogan, Liam Agnew and Adam Boyes could all feature for Jason Ainsley's side on Tuesday.

United drew 0-0 in the away fixture against Spennymoor last season — although that match was played at Harrogate Town late in the campaign. This season's reverse fixture ended 2-0 to the Moors in August.

Tuesday's match referee is John Matthews, who last took charge of the Pilgrims in March 2018 when he sent off Andi Thanoj and Ben Middleton in a 1-0 defeat at York City.
