Boston United could find themselves at the heart of a championship party for the fourth time in seven seasons on Saturday afternoon.

Salford City require one point to clinch the title and even if United triumph at the Peninsula Stadium, the Ammies will still lift the crown if Harrogate Town drop points at Bradford Park Avenue.

United have seen Hyde FC (2012), Chester FC (2013) and AFC Fylde (2017) clinch the title in matches against the Pilgrims over recent seasons.

The Pilgrims will be without the services of on-loan Salford striker Jake Beesley, who netted his first goal for the club in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over Harrogate Town.

Full-back Ben Middleton will be back in contention after sitting out Tuesday's match against his parent club.

Salford have amassed 88 points from their 40 matches to date and have won 15 of their home fixtures, drawing twice and losing three times.

The Ammies were 1-0 victors at The Jakemans Stadium earlier in the campaign while the spoils were shared in a pulsating 3-3 draw at Moor Lane last season.

Saturday's match referee is Scott Simpson.
