Newsham set for midweek comeback

Newsham has not made a competitive first team appearance for the Pilgrims since April 1 but he is expected to appear against a Mansfield Town XI at The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.30pm) as he takes a significant step in his comeback from a long-standing knee injury.

Other fringe first teamers are likely to figure too for the side led by Glen Maddison and Allan Ross.

The Wilson and Co Vauxhall Stand will be open for spectators, with admission priced £2 for adults and £1 for concessions and under-16s.
