Boston United return to The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon to host York City in Vanarama National League North.

The Minstermen are the final pre-Christmas league visitors as both clubs near the mid-point of their respective campaigns.

The Pilgrims are targeting a first league win since October 27 when they overcame Hereford FC on home soil, while York's form has been patchy too although they are unbeaten in their last three matches in all competitions.

United will be without the services of stricken Harrogate Town loanee Jordan Thewlis, while defender Ben Middleton is sidelined with a broken bone in his foot.

Jay Rollins could make his first appearance on home turf since mid-March after stepping off the bench twice over recent weeks in away encounters.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-1 in the Pilgrims' favour in Craig Elliott's first victory as United boss.

Saturday's match referee is Amy Fearn, who took charge of United's 2-1 home win over Nuneaton Borough in August.

Away supporters will be housed in the Lincolnshire Co-operative York Street Stand, accessible via turnstiles 3, 3a and 4. Home fans will NOT have access to this stand on the day.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
