Boston United suffered a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of in-form Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday evening as the Pilgrims' inconsistent season continued.
Goals from Reece Prestedge and Dwight Gayle (penalty) handed Stortford a deserved win against a United side who struggled to create clear-cut openings.
United went close through Marc Newsham and Danny Sleath late on, but Stortford were worthy winners.
