Boston United's poor run in Football Conference Youth Alliance action continued with a heavy defeat to in-form Gateshead on Monday afternoon.
Tom James struck for the Pilgrims, but United were beaten 7-1 at the International Stadium.
United concluded 2011 with only four points to their credit from eight matches contested.
