Boston United are in Lincolnshire Senior Cup final action on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Pilgrims travel to The Northolme to face Gainsborough Trinity in this season's county final.

United last lifted the county title at The Northolme — with a 3-1 win in 2013.

Craig Elliott's new charges will be hoping to impress after slipping to defeat at the hands of Harrogate Town on Saturday in the manager's first match at the United helm.

United progressed to the final following pre-season victories over Lincoln United and Grimsby Town while Trinity recorded wins over Grantham Town and Lincoln City.

Trinity's on-loan Pilgrim Taron Hare will be unable to feature because he is cup-tied having played for United in the competition earlier in the season.

Tuesday evening's match referee is Martin Chester and the tie will progress straight to penalties should the scores be level after 90 minutes.
