FC United of Manchester are Saturday's visitors to The Jakemans Stadium as Boston United plot an overdue home victory.

The Pilgrims are targeting their first win on home soil since December 8 when they defeated York City — and their next opportunity unfolds on Saturday with the visit of second-bottom FC United (kick-off 3.00pm).

United boss Craig Elliott will be without the services of Mansfield Town centre-half Lewis Gibbens, who sustained a dislocated shoulder during Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Spennymoor Town.

Spencer Harris could come into the side, having deputised for Gibbens from the bench in midweek.

Fellow defender Ben Middleton has been given the green light to resume training but Saturday's match is likely to come too soon for his return.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 4-4, following two last-gasp FC United strikes.

Saturday's match referee is Sam Barrott, who took charge of the Pilgrims' home victory over Hereford FC earlier in the season.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
