Lincolnshire derby action takes place at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon with Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity on collision course.

The play-off chasing Pilgrims meet the relegation-threatened Blues in the 147th meeting between the Lincolnshire neighbours.

United will be aiming to extend their prolific home record which has seen Dennis Greene’s side net 26 times in their last six outings at The Jakemans Stadium.

Trinity have collected 10 points, including three victories, from 16 away matches so far this season and currently sit five points clear of Colwyn Bay in the final relegation place.

United look set to be without defender Zak Mills who limped out of last weekend’s 1-0 win at Gloucester City with a hamstring injury.

Nicky Walker, who deputised from the bench last week, and new loan signing Jake Sheridan are the leading contenders to replace Mills.

Jamie McGhee (ankle) and Greg Tempest (knee) are definite absentees for Greene, who is plotting United’s third successive home league win over Trinity.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 6-0 in United’s favour, with Marc Newsham bagging one of six hat-tricks scored by the Pilgrims since the beginning of 2014.

Saturday’s match referee is Anthony Tankard and kick-off is at 3.00pm.

Match coverage will be available via @bostonunited on Twitter.
