Boston United will go in pursuit of a fourth consecutive home victory in Vanarama National League North on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims entertain mid-table Tamworth at The Jakemans Stadium (kick-off 3.00pm) as they attempt to build upon their five-match unbeaten run overall.

The 1-1 draw at Gainsborough Trinity on New Year's Day, achieved courtesy of Reece Thompson's first league goal in amber and black, was the first time in five matches that the Pilgrims had not emerged with all three points following their excellent form throughout December.

United boss Craig Elliott will be without the services of defenders James Clifton (hip) and Brad McGowan (ankle) for the visit of Tamworth.

The Lambs, who won this season's reverse fixture 2-1 in August, were beaten 3-0 on their last visit to Boston in August 2016.

They are currently five points ahead of the Pilgrims and were 2-0 victors over Nuneaton Town at the Lamb Ground on New Year's Day.

Saturday's match referee is Anthony Tankard and match updates will be available on Twitter.
