Boston United and Southport will attempt to play their Vanarama National League North fixture on Saturday — at the second time of asking.

One week on from the initial postponement at The Jakemans Stadium due to a frozen pitch, the sides will reconvene on a date originally left blank by their respective Buildbase FA Trophy exits.

Andi Thanoj is the Pilgrims’ latest recruit and he, along with fellow newcomers Brad Abbott and Stephen Brogan, could make his debut in Craig Elliott's United midfield.

Southport have added Alfreton Town defender Billy Priestley to their squad since the initial postponement and are aiming to snap out of a 15-match winless streak in all competitions stretching back to September.

Kevin Davies’ side drew 3-3 at Tamworth last time out at the same time United were defeating York City 2-1.

The last meeting between the sides in Lincolnshire ended 2-1 in the Sangrounders’ favour (in December 2007).

Saturday afternoon's match referee is Scott Simpson and match updates will be available on Twitter.
