Martyn Bunce will take charge of Boston United for the first time on Tuesday when the Pilgrims head to Witton Albion in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Following Saturday’s abandoned tie at Wincham Park and Dennis Greene’s departure on Monday evening, Bunce will lead the Pilgrims into battle with a first round home clash against Chester FC up-for-grabs.

There are no new injury concerns for Bunce to contend with for the midweek encounter, although five long-term injury victims remain sidelined.

Michael Emery will continue in goal following Dion-Curtis Henry’s recall by Peterborough United.

Witton lost the services of skipper Paul Williams to injury during the original tie and, according to reports, he is unlikely to figure on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).

Should a replay be required, it will be staged at The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday December 6 (kick-off 7.45pm).
