Boston United contest their final away fixture of the regulation Vanarama Conference North campaign on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims, who know that four points from their final two fixtures will secure a play-off place because of their superior goal difference, head to the Autotech Stadium at Damson Park to face mid-table Solihull Moors.

Moors drew 2-2 at AFC Fylde last time out — but have won only two of their last 12 home fixtures.

Dennis Greene’s side know that a victory, coupled with Tamworth dropping points at leaders Barrow, will mathematically guarantee a top five place.

Greene hopes that winger Jake Sheridan and striker Mark Jones will both be fit enough to return following hamstring strains as the Pilgrims chase a ninth match unbeaten.

Moors, who boast having the division’s top scorer Omar Bogle in their ranks, won 2-1 at The Jakemans Stadium earlier in the campaign but have beaten only bottom three occupants Brackley Town and Leamington in their last dozen fixtures on home soil.

Last season’s corresponding fixture finished 2-1 to the Pilgrims, courtesy of two Ricky Miller penalties.

Kick-off at the Autotech Stadium is 3.00pm.
