Boston United are back on home soil on Saturday afternoon for the visit of FC United of Manchester.

The Pilgrims will be eager to return to winning ways (kick-off 3.00pm) after three games without victory.

Last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at York City came at an additional cost with defender Ben Middleton and midfielder Andi Thanoj now beginning three-match bans for their respective red cards at Bootham Crescent.

On the flipside, striker Reece Thompson is back in contention for Craig Elliott’s side having completed his own one-match ban.

Opponents FC United have collected 37 points from 33 games to date but have won only once on the road so far this season (2-0 at York City on August 28). They were beaten 6-0 at Harrogate Town last time out.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 3-2 in FC United’s favour. The Red Rebels were 2-1 victors over the nine-man Pilgrims at Broadhurst Park earlier this season.

Saturday's match referee is Declan Bourne and match updates will be available on Twitter.
