Reserves set for Cleethorpes six-pointer

Reserves set for Cleethorpes six-pointer

Craig Singleton27 Oct 2011 - 18:29

Boston United Reserves face their toughest assignment of the season when they travel to Cleethorpes Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

The encounter at Stamford Club will pit together this season’s title favourites and the division’s reigning champions.

Cleethorpes have not lost for 12 months — and were 1-0 victors at The Jakemans Stadium in September.

The Pilgrims need three points on Saturday to maintain realistic title hopes — with Cleethorpes already holding a seven-point advantage with one match in hand.

United hope to have full-back Nathan Rawdon and winger Bert Snaith back in contention for the trip to Cleethorpes.

Pedro Sevilha is still missing, while Jason Field (loan) and Scott Lowman have departed.

United (from): Hewitt, Bishop, Dawson, Edwards, Eustace, Jackson, Lovett, Nuttell, Ogden, M Price, Rawdon, Sergeant, Shinn, Snaith, Sturman, Thompson, Whitaker.
