Reserves set for home encounter

Craig Singleton3 Feb 2012 - 09:41

Boston United Reserves entertain CGB Humbertherm at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 2.00pm).

The Pilgrims will be hoping to clinch a ninth successive win in all competitions, as well as completing a quickfire league double over Humbertherm having won 3-1 at Fulstow on January 21.

Top goalscorer Tom Sergeant is back in contention having missed last weekend’s 2-0 win over Lincoln United Reserves.

Goalkeeper Ricky Drury is poised to rejoin Quorn on loan, meaning Andy Hewitt will travel with the first team and with youth team stopper Marc Hipwell unavailable, goalkeeping coach Martyn Bunce is likely to play.

Manager Glen Maddison expects to have an otherwise unchanged squad at his disposal, with striker Tony Edwards once again on first team duty.

United (from): Bunce, Barker, Bishop, Dawson, Dodds, Ihama, Jackson, Lovett, Nuttell, Ogden, Reed, Sergeant, Snaith, Sturman, A Thompson, M Thompson, Whitaker.
