Boston United boss Dennis Greene has ended his long pursuit of a recognised left-back by signing Netan Sansara from Danish club FC Vestsjaelland.

The former Walsall trainee, who played in the Football League for the Saddlers between 2008 and 2010, has linked up with the Pilgrims during pre-season training and will be eligible to play once international clearance has been obtained.

The 23-year-old has also played for Dundee in Scotland and PAEEK in Cyprus.

Reflecting on Sansara’s arrival, Greene told bufc.co.uk: “Netan is a quality addition and it has been well worth waiting to fill the left-back slot with somebody of his calibre becoming available.

“There is no point rushing in to get every position filled early in the summer. Quality players remain available and it is all about biding your time to get them signed.”

Sansara is the sixth summer arrival at The Jakemans Stadium.
