Boston United chairman David Newton has addressed supporters ahead of season tickets going on general sale on Tuesday morning.

By visiting the club's online ticketing site, supporters can get their hands on season tickets for the upcoming 2021-2022 campaign – from 10.00am on Tuesday.

Supporters can purchase West Stand seating, North Stand terracing or Club 85 hospitality season tickets.

The club are still awaiting guidance regarding the admittance of away supporters, so will NOT be selling tickets for East Stand initially.

Once guidance becomes clearer and you wish to transfer to the East Stand, the club will make the necessary arrangements. Anybody ultimately wishing to utilise the East Stand terracing should purchase in the North Stand in the short-term.

Mr Newton commented: "I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well and can I start by thanking you for your ongoing support which is really appreciated.

"You will be aware that the initial batch of season tickets were offered to those who were able to support us last year by purchasing a season ticket on a totally non-refundable basis. This was a huge ask of our fans, and we felt that it was appropriate to acknowledge how vital that support was to us last season.

"We are aware that some supporters are unable to purchase season tickets, and some choose not to purchase season tickets but then support us on a match-by-match basis. That support is just as important as the support from season ticket holders but, of course, it was only those that purchased the tickets on a non-returnable basis that took a huge risk last season. Without such support, it would have made a very difficult time for the football club so much worse.

"It certainly turned out to be a season like no other where ultimately all the hard work came to nothing, as the season was declared null and void. All this on top of the issues around the distribution of the Government support, and ultimately 'grants' turning into 'loans'.

"As the season came to an end, we immediately started to look towards the new season and secured the majority of last season's squad, and currently we are securing the additional players that we believe will give us a great chance of promotion in the first full season in the new Jakemans Community Stadium.

"The East Stand is now nearing completion, and work has commenced on the new 3G pitch – so things are now really coming together at the new stadium.

"Ellenders, our bistro style restaurant, is open and receiving great reviews, and all the other facilities are now starting to get bookings which, of course, is all part of the plan to give the club a sustainable future going forward.

"Those purchasing season tickets now will also receive a free drinks voucher for use in Ellenders and a free food voucher for use in one of the snack bars in the concourses.

"The vaccine rollout has been a huge success and all indications are that fans will be allowed back in stadia subject to Covid restrictions.

"Although new guidance has not yet been issued, we have taken the decision to start to sell season tickets for the coming 2021-2022 season on the assumption that if there are restrictions, they will be similar to those that were issued ahead of last season, when we were planning for fans to be with us on a restricted basis.

"For this season, seat allocations will be on a first come, first served basis, with seats allocated by Boston United to family bubbles and groups in line with Covid restrictions. In future seasons when Covid restrictions have been lifted, requests for specific seats will be accepted and allocated if available. ALL seats have an uninterrupted view of the pitch.

"I hope that you will be able to purchase a season ticket for the coming season – needless to say if for any reason we have to revert back to streaming some games, your ticket would cover that.

"We believe that it is too much to ask fans to commit on non-refundable basis again, although starting the season is a huge financial risk for us. This season we will therefore commit to credit all or part of the season ticket if games are cancelled due to Government Covid-19 guidance, less the cost of any streaming services. The credit can then be used against a future season ticket purchase.

"Season tickets can be purchased online here – and any queries can be directed to tickets@bufc.co.uk or by calling (01205) 364406 between 10.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.”

IMPORTANT
"Staffing levels are limited at the present time, therefore please go direct to the ticketing site, which has all the information you need, or if you need further information, preferably contact us via e-mail. This will allow us to give everyone the best service possible.

"Please note if you are buying family tickets, you will need to purchase the individual tickets on the site and the discount is then automatically applied at the checkout.

"It is important that you read the Terms and Conditions for full details of ticket purchases, together with the Spectator Behaviour Policy; the Ground Regulations, and our Covid Policy (which is subject to ongoing updates in line with the Government guidelines) ahead of purchasing your ticket(s).

"Thank you once again for your ongoing valuable support, and we look forward to seeing you in the near future at the new Jakemans Community Stadium."
