Boston United have completed the signing of former Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Slew.

The 26-year-old, who commanded a £1.1 million transfer fee in 2011, has linked up with Craig Elliott's side following a successful trial spell at the club.

Slew has other Football League experience with the likes of Chesterfield, Cambridge United, Plymouth Argyle and Rochdale and is eligible to make his United debut against Blyth Spartans on Saturday.
