Smith is latest United player to commit

Craig Singleton23 May 2012 - 09:00

Winger Kallum Smith has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with Boston United.

Smith (22) was offered new terms following his short spell with the Pilgrims at the end of 2011-2012 — and has agreed to remain at The Jakemans Stadium.

The left-sided attacker arrived from Lincoln United ahead of transfer deadline day in March and had only fleeting opportunities to impress — but started successive matches against champions Hyde FC and runners-up Guiseley in the Pilgrims’ final two fixtures and caught the eye of manager Jason Lee.

Smith will begin pre-season training with the other United players at the end of June.

Further re-signings from the 2011-2012 are still expected. Stay tuned to bufc.co.uk to find out who is next to put pen-to-paper…
