Smith returns as United draw

Gregg Smith made his long-awaited return from injury as Boston United shared the spoils with Barrow on Saturday afternoon.

Smith emerged as an 80th minute substitute to end his six-month injury hell after Ashley Hemmings and Richie Bennett had traded goals either side of half-time.

Both sides played their part in an entertaining contest, with George Willis impressing in the United goal with three excellent saves, two of which thwarted ex-Pilgrims' loanee Asa Hall.
